What This Reading Actually Is
A Soul Blueprint Reading is composed of eight chapters. Each chapter is a sustained passage — a single breath, addressed to the part of you that has always been waiting to be spoken to in this register.
The eight chapters have specific names, and the names do not change between one Reading and the next, because they describe something universal in the architecture of a soul:
- The Arrival — the essential frequency you arrived carrying, named in the first words you ever heard yourself addressed by.
- The Soul’s Inheritance — what came in with you from before you arrived; what is yours and what belongs to something older.
- The Living of It — the specific texture of your daily inner experience, and the wound that turns out to be the gift.
- The Soul’s Calling — what this incarnation came to do, named without qualification.
- The Soul’s Territories — the twelve specific domains of your life, briefly walked, each one a room in the kingdom you are inhabiting whether you know it or not.
- The Name You Carry — the etymology of your name across the languages it has passed through, and what it has been preparing you to claim.
- The Moment — what is moving in your life right now, and why this particular season is not happening to you but is being offered to you.
- The Invitation — the single specific ask that everything in the Reading converges toward.
After the eighth chapter, there is a short passage called This Is Not Coincidence. It is the only place in the entire Reading where the three traditions are named in plain form, side by side. It is the moment where the reader — who has been carried by the prose across the first eight chapters — looks back and sees that the astrology, the numerology, and the etymology have all been saying the same thing, the entire time, in three different languages.

The Three Traditions, In One Sentence Each
Western natal astrology. Your chart, calculated to Swiss Ephemeris standard — tropical zodiac, Placidus houses, true node — read not as a list of placements but as the geometric signature of the sky at the precise moment you took your first breath.
Pythagorean numerology. The numbers your name composes — Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge, Personality, Birth Day, the master numbers hidden inside any of them — read as the mathematics of your soul’s curriculum.
Name etymology. The roots of your name — first, middle, last, the assumed name you go by if it differs from the one on your birth certificate — traced across the originating languages (Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit, Latin, Greek, Old English, whichever apply to you) and read as a third interpretive lens onto who you are and what you are carrying.

I am the one who delivers these Readings. Shams-Tabriz is my birth name — given to me by my parents, naming me from my first breath into the lineage of the wandering dervish whose meeting with Rumi in thirteenth-century Konya transformed a respected scholar into the most widely-read mystical poet in human history. The name was a prophecy before I knew what a name was. I am a mentor, an intuitive, and the author of Awaken to Brilliance, Soaring With Angels, and the fiction series The Magdalene Prophecy. There is a quality you have carried since before you had language for it — a way of receiving the world that was already complete the moment you drew your first breath, and which no version of you since has been able to dim, no matter how many times you tried. Let me name it for you, as precisely as I can. Because I think you have spent a great deal of your life suspecting something specific about yourself, and never once hearing it said plainly back to you.
You came in tuned like a string drawn finer than the instruments around you. Imagine a string strung so tight, so true, that it registers vibrations the other strings in the room cannot feel at all — a tremor moving through the floor, a change in the air pressure, a footstep three rooms away. That is the frequency you arrived carrying. Not a louder string. A finer one. A string that hears what the others were never built to hear, and that therefore hums when everything around it is silent, and stays humming long after everyone else has decided the room is quiet. This is the fundamental fact of your design. Not a personality. Not a preference. The register itself — the band on which your whole being is calibrated to receive.
The ancient image for the exact degree of the sky that was rising at your birth is this: a carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission. A bird built to carry something true across a distance, against weather, without being told the way, arriving because arriving is what it is for. Notice already what is woven into that image — that there is something to carry, that the carrying is a mission and not a wandering, and that the bird does not need the route explained to it. Something in you has always known the direction even when nothing around you confirmed it.
The depth of feeling you live inside is not a matter of degree — it is not that you feel the same things others feel, only more so. The amplitude itself is genuinely outside the ordinary band. What registers in you as a full chord — felt completely, in the body, with edges and weight and a precise interior architecture — registers in others as a passing note, if it registers at all. This is not a flattering thing I am telling you to make you feel special. It is closer to the opposite. It is the reason a particular loneliness has followed you that has nothing whatsoever to do with whether you are loved, whether you are surrounded, whether you have people. What You Receive, Step By Step
When you commission a Reading, this is what happens, in this order.
1. Intake. After you complete your purchase, you are taken to a private intake page. You enter your full birth name (the one on your birth certificate), the name you currently go by if it differs, your date of birth, the time of birth as exact as you have it, and the city and country of birth. You are also given eight optional contemplative questions. These are not required. Reading them slowly, and answering the ones that move you, deepens the Reading. Answering none of them does not diminish it.
2. Confirmation. Within twenty-four hours of submitting the intake, you will receive a confirmation email from Shams-Tabriz personally, naming what was received and naming the date by which your Reading will arrive.
3. Composition. Your Reading is composed over the next fourteen to twenty-one days. It is not assembled from templates. The methodology has structure. The composition does not. Every paragraph is composed for you specifically, original each time.
4. Delivery. Your Reading arrives as a single PDF, attached to an email addressed to you by name. It is yours — to read, to print, to return to, to share if you choose. If you commissioned the bundle, The Kingdom arrives in the same email, as a second PDF. If you commissioned The Science alongside your Reading, it arrives in the same delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this Reading for? It is for the soul that has been quietly looking for itself in fragments — a horoscope here, a Life Path number there, a paragraph about the meaning of their name in a book of baby names twenty years ago — and has never seen those fragments composed into one document, written in one voice, addressed to them by name. If you have ever wondered whether the disparate pieces of what you are amount to a single coherent design, the Reading is for you.
Do I need to know my birth time? The Reading is most precise when the birth time is known to the minute, because the Ascendant — the degree of the sky rising at your first breath — moves one degree every four minutes. If you do not have your birth time, the Reading can still be composed; the Ascendant will be drawn from what your name and your life have already declared, and this will be noted in the document. Many seekers without a birth time have received Readings they describe as more accurate than the ones they have received from astrologers who had the time but not the method.
How long does it take? Fourteen to twenty-one days from the date you submit your intake. If you commission the bundle, allow up to twenty-eight days, because The Kingdom is a second full document.
What format does it arrive in? A single PDF, attached to an email. Loosely 80 to 120 pages for the Reading; The Kingdom, when commissioned, adds approximately 150 pages. The kind of document that takes hours to read and is built to be returned to across the years. You may print either; many seekers do. It is formatted to read beautifully on screen or on paper.
What if I am not satisfied? Readings are commissioned, not subscribed to. Composition begins immediately upon purchase, and the work is original and yours. For this reason, all commissions are final. Commission when you are ready. In practice, this has not been a problem; seekers who have received the Reading have, without exception, received what they asked for.
Is this generic astrology, or generic numerology? No. The Reading is composed specifically for the soul commissioning it, drawing on three traditions in combination. There is no template Reading; every Reading is original to its commissioner. The methodology has structure (the eight chapters; the twelve Territories; the convergence passage); the composition is original each time.
Can I commission a Reading for someone else as a gift? Yes. At intake, you will be asked whose Reading this is for, and whether the recipient should be notified or surprised. If the Reading is a surprise, the confirmation email is sent to you instead of the recipient, and the final PDF is delivered to you to deliver as you wish. You may also choose whether your name appears in the Reading’s dedication as the commissioner, or whether the gift is offered anonymously. The Reading itself is addressed to the recipient by name.
Is the Reading religious? The Reading is composed in the lineage of the mystic traditions — Sufi, kabbalistic, Vedic, Hermetic — that have been reading souls for two thousand years through chart, number, and name. It is not, however, the doctrine of any one religion. Seekers from every tradition, and from no tradition, have commissioned Readings and received them as their own.
What is The Science and do I need it? The Science is an optional illuminated technical companion — a separate PDF that shows every step of the astrology, the numerology, the etymology, and the cross-tradition convergence analysis that the Reading was built from. It is not required; the Reading stands completely on its own. The Science is for those who want to see the instrument panel alongside the transmission — who find beauty in the calculations themselves, not only in what the calculations named. It can be commissioned at the same time as your Reading, or afterward as a standalone document if you already hold your Reading.
What about my privacy? Your intake data — your full name, your birth data, the optional contemplative answers you provide — is used only for the composition of your Reading. It is not sold, not shared, not used for any other purpose. At intake you may elect, with a single toggle, to have your core intake data deleted from our systems the moment your Reading is composed and delivered. The Reading itself — the document we have written for you — remains in our archive as our work and our property; you receive the document, and you receive it in full.
