This is why your movement matters. You do not need to be finished. You need to keep walking.
Meeting the Fear of the Unfinished Path
Stop waiting for the map. The map does not come before the walking. It comes during. Your work right now is to notice—to feel the next plank forming beneath you as you step, to trust the structure even though you can only see a board or two ahead, and to keep your hands steady and your feet moving. When you want to stop and perfect yourself before you help anyone, that is the fear talking. When you want to retreat until you have solved your own problems, that is the belief that love and work must wait for completion. They do not.

- Write down one thing you are learning right now—something you are still uncertain about—and find one way to teach it or mention it today. Watch how the act of naming it while you learn it steadies something in you and in the person listening.
- Identify one person in your life who does not need you to be finished, and spend thirty minutes with them without the shield of being helpful. Let yourself be held, be uncertain, be incomplete. Notice that the bridge does not collapse when you step off it.
- Name the one area where you feel most like a fraud, and send a message to someone you have actually helped saying this is where you are still learning. Watch what they say back.
The Bridge That Becomes Solid
You will never arrive at a version of yourself where the work is done and the learning stops and you can finally, safely help people. That is not the path. The path is the bridge being built and walked at the same pace, the carpenter and the walker moving together, neither ahead of the other. Your steadiness does not come from having finished. It comes from continuing. From moving forward with the next person even when your own ground is still settling. From teaching what you are learning. From healing what you are healing.
This is not a flaw in your calling. This is the shape of it. This is the number itself—29, always becoming, always teaching, always in motion. The people you lead are not following a finished woman. They are following a woman who is still becoming, and that is the only thing in the world worth following. The bridge behind you is solid because you walked it while it was being built. The bridge ahead of you will be solid for the same reason. Trust the boards beneath your feet. Trust your movement. Trust that you are exactly right.
